For the past couple of weeks one of the nesting boxes is wet. There is no evidence of an eaten egg, no shells, yolk, etc. The hay & straw is wet; it's kind of a dark spot. The wetness goes all the way through to the floor of the nesting box, so I keep changing the bedding. What could this be?
Hi I'm a new member and new to having backyard chickens. I live on Staten Island, which is a suburb of New York City. Trying to find the proper sand to use in the coop & run.
Having such a hard time finding the correct sand for my chicken coop. Does anyone know if 124 sand is good to use? Does anyone have a link to a company that sells coop sand? I'm in tri-state area.
