    To fridge or not to fridge?

    My chickens have just started to lay eggs (I got the second one this morning!) and I am unsure if they need to be refrigerated or not. I know eggs in the grocery store are refrigerated in the US but in other countries they are not. So what’s the best way to keep fresh eggs fresh?

    What are these?

    I got my chickens from a feed store I was working at. I was able to select some breeds and picked out some other chicks not really knowing what they were. I know I have 3 silkies but am unsure of the other 3. They are 5 weeks old now. Hoping to know what breeds they all are.

    New Chicken mama

    I have wanted chickens for so long and finally have my flock! I have 6 chickens I have been raising since they were a couple days days. So excited to share my experiences and learn more from other chicken lovers. :D
