    3 ducks down by a fox in 3 months…

Hello, I put my ducks away around 8 and we knew there was a fox lurking around, because 2 had been eaten already since New Years. I went to put the 5 away and there was 4. Our female khaki Campbell peanut was missing. We are sure it was a fox, a duck was killed 2 weeks ago. I’m so done with it...

    Duck bones??

Hi, last Tuesday I lost my beloved duck, he was a white runner with a fluffy white Afro. I have been searching all around my property for remains, knowing it is a fox and where the fox den is. I’m 95% sure these are the remains, but I’m not sure. Is there anyone that could help me identify it!

    Internal pip?

It’s day 25 for this little duck, and I think it’s the beak internally pipping, but I’m not sure. Should I intervene now or later?

    Take 2!(help!)

Good afternoon! I’ve had a duckling that pipped internally around maybe in between 5 and 7 and it’s still moving. It looks like a bruise has appeared on the egg right where the air sac is. When should I help it?

Day 29! Looks like a pip?

Hello people, it’s day 29 for my duck egg(not a moscovy), and there’s a bruising with a black dot in the center. It’s not near the air cell, and I’m a bit worried. I’ll insert a picture. If so is it like even a pip? No beak in the air cell yet. HELP!

    Veins???

Hello! I’ve been incubating this egg for 5 days. This is technically the 4th day though. I think I see veins growing at the bottom of the yolk, but unsure. Zoom in and look if you can.

    Help-

This is my first time incubating, I have done research and I use it when checking on the eggs or when I set up the incubator, but I’m just not sure about myself, and I could use some reassuring. So if somebody could take their time to put in what to do(or copy and paste something) that would...

Why are my two females mating?

Why are my two female ducks mating? I have seen my two female ducks have acted strange, like I have walked outside and seen the one on the others back doing the head bite thing that the males do. Is this just a dominance thing or is it something else I should look into? Please help!!!

    I’m confused…

So my duck layer her first egg today(very first ever), and there is a drake around. There wasn’t a bullseye on the yolk, so I’m confused. Do females lay fertile eggs when they first start laying eggs or do they have to wait until fhe Next spring/mating season?

    Is this a fertile egg?

This is my ducks first egg. We wanted to eat it just to taste it, but I took a picture because it looked a little funky. I’m a first timer with incubating and hatching duck eggs, so I don’t know what I’m really doing😅. I could use some help, I don’t think the egg is fertile but I could use some...

    Size of the incubator

I have two female ducks. One is about a month older. We are first timers with ducks and we want to try and incubate eggs, but we don’t know how big of a incunator we need, or if there is just one size. So manly I’m trying to figure out how many fertile eggs two females will lay. If any of you...

    Underage mating Pekin

My Pekin duck which is 3 months old is already mating with my 4 month old khaki Campbell drake. She hasn’t been eating as much as she used too, and she limps all the time. I have walked outside to go check on them, and she was laying on her stomach sprawled out in the garden far away from her...
