I had a chicken rotisserie laying around and I thought I could use the motor out of it. So I took it a part and I got the motor out of it. But I am not sure how to make the turner and connect the motor to it.
I made an indoor pond out of wood and pond liner. The turtles out grew it fast so I was wondering if it would make a good duck and chicken brooder? Would the floor be too slick or would that matter with hay and pine shavings on it?
I am planing on getting 13 ducks (3 pekin, 3 rouen, 3 cayugas and 4 khakies). I want to divide the breeds into runs that are 5 x 6 with a 4 x 3 house outside of the run.
Can I use hardwood plywood for flooring or will that be to slick and hurt their feet?
How many square feet does each duck need...
I have hatched snake eggs before but those aren't like chicken eggs. When turning the eggs do you rotate 45 degrees to the right then back into the oringinal position then 45 degrees to the left or do you keep turning the same direction? Does it matter weather the eggs point up or lay down...
