A skunk attacked one of my chickens and chewed on her comb. the wound has healed but the comb is dangling, in the way of her beak and looks heavy. Part of it has turned black, hard and sort of like a scab. It doesn’t seem to be a significant issue, but wonder what I should do with the “dead”...
