    Local Butcher for Meat Chickens

    Hi all, This year my husband decided to try growing out a few meat chickens. Only problem is we live within Lincoln city limits in Nebraska and so we can't process them ourselves. Does anyone know of someone local who can do it for us? We only have 6 birds.

    How old and what's the brown one?

    Hi, I just picked up chickens for the first time. Can anyone help me ages. The olive egger appears to be youngest with feathers on her wings only. The brown one (Wyandotte?), seems to be the oldest with the 2 australorps maybe a week behind.
