    Formed but unhatched eggs? no heartbeat

    I had a broody hen with 5 unhatched eggs. It is now the 24th day and I candled them while she was 'free ranging' with her chicks. 2 never formed, but 3 formed, I see/feel no heartbeat though. I am just curious as to why... did they die or something? or not turned enough :(

    One of my chick's eye is badly swollen

    Just this week I noticed one eye was a bit swollen so I looked it up and it may be coryza. There's no mucous though, just teary eye and swelling.
