    Merging 2 flocks

Last week we merged our old flock of 6, with our new flock of 7. Before this happened I took these steps. 1) I had a new coop with run set up next to our other coops run, so the girls could see each other through the fence. This lasted about a month. 2) We built another run onto our old coop...

Good Gardening Place online like this!

I'm sure a lot of us love gardening just as much as taking care of our winged friends. I have been gardening for 3 years now, but going on my 4th year I decided to do my own starts! I have questions. And was wondering if there is another place like this, but centers around Gardening. Any...

Kicking the straw out of Nesting Box.

I'm new to chicken raising. I have 6 chickens. They keep kicking the straw out of their nesting box. They have been laying, and thankfully only one egg got broken. But does anyone have any advice to stop this behavior? Thanks! :)

    HI!

Hi! I got my first flock of 6 back in July. I have 4 Plymouth Rocks-Ms May, Daisy, Jefphanie, Tomina, and 2 Rhode Island Reds-Itty and Stevie. I've learned a lot through YouTube and Google. But going into the winter (I live in South Eastern Michigan) I decided I'd like to become part of a...
