i have a broody mama that has pushed two hatching eggs out from under her. one chick hatched but died. want to help the other one, i put it back under her but she pushed it out again. it is chirping. i do not have an incubator. i have a heating pad for a dog which i have the egg on now. what...
can i remove my broody hen and her eggs from existing coop and put her in a different one by herself that will be better for the upcoming chicks?

Hello. Love this site. Have had chickens on and off over the years. Expanding my flock because I ended up with two roosters last spring. Last week picked up 6 new hens. I thought one might have vent gleek so thought i'd post and ask. Has a scabby patch under her vent and missing feathers...
