I haven't kept chickens for years, although I grew up adjacent to my grandfather's farm where he always had chickens. Black plymouth rocks IIRC. My grandmother on my other side also raised chickens and sold eggs to a local store.
So, I've had chickens, but its been so long, I'm basically back...
