Ventilation query
I recently took in 2 Swedish drakes and I'm making a duck house for them. I plan to get some girls for them soon, but its hard to find any for sale around me. I have a coop to hand that I want to use for now, it would give them about just over 12sqft of space, of course that's just for over... -
Do these ducklings look abused?
I like to keep an eye around for birds coming up for sale, this is one advertisement which really troubled me. I don't know a ton about ducks, but this looks pretty crammed and I would be worried about how fast they end up in their own waste, and about some of the smaller ones getting trampled... -
Is this a dumped domestic duck?
When out walking today, I saw this all-white female duck in the river. For the duration of the time I could see her, she stuck with the same mallard drake. She seems slightly smaller than him, the smallest duck in the river (only saw one other female, all the other drakes are the same size), and...
