I've done enough research to realize it could be hundreds of things... I live in Louisiana, it's hot, but the chickens have plenty of shade & water. This is one of my friendly free range bantams, not in the coop, but in a flock of about 6 that cruise the yard and sleep on a shelf by the back...
Can you help me identify the breed of this hen by appearance alone? I'm pretty sure that I don't have any barnyard mixes in my flock. More likely than not to be a pure, whatever she is... While we're at it, take a shot at the breed of this handsome feller :)

Can you help me identify the breed of this chick...? My daughter named it Simba. It's her favorite, so I hope it's a pullet! It came from the Bantam bin. Thought it was an Acona, but it's not a clean leg.
