My mystery eggs hatched!
I have a box full of babies and 2 more eggs I'm waiting to see if they are going to hatch. All seem to be the white polish except 4 micro black ones. Those Lil guys are half the size of a nor.al baby chick.- astone

Not entirely new but rusty
First off Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing OK. I'm not a total newbie to chickens I've had them for years on and off but I've never done the whole incubator thing before and I recently hatched out 8 babies who aren't so much babies anymore and I just feel I'm aggravating my city girl...- astone

Can anyone explain why......
I have a female mallard and she has been sitting on 12 eggs. Her 28 day setting period was up on Friday May 24th. Shes still sitting on her eggs and hissing when we get close to her. My question is,. Why on earth is she putting an egg into her water. So far we have found 2. One in the pool and...
