    Mille fleur duccles chicks

My broody cochin bantam hatched these two MF duccles. I'm pretty sure I have 1 roo and 1 hen. 5 weeks & 3 days old. New with this breed so looking for expert opinions but really think the bigger ones a boy and little is a girl.

    Feathers on foot pads?

this is my 26 week old brahma. She is a naturally occurring dwarf, about 4 lbs. So she thinks she is a bantam. She didn't feather until she was around 9 weeks so we weren't sure she'd make it. Now she has a new problem...she seems to be growing feathers on the bottom of her foot. Has anyone...

    Possible dwarf?

This is runt, she is a 10 week old brahma. I'm pretty sure she is some type of dwarf. She is still mostly fluff but does have some feathers on her wings and pin feathers on her tail and head. At 10 weeks she is a little smaller than my 5 week bantam. I don't see the traits for a thyroid issue...

Is she broody or egg bound?

My 9 month old bantam cochin has been staying in the nesting box. I don't think shes laid an egg in a few days. She is coming out to eat and free range a bit bit otherwise staying in the box. She feels like shes lost some weight. Any suggestions.

I have a flock of 5, one each gold laced cochin, RIR, and Dominique and 2 Crele old English game bantams. My 2 OEGs have taken to roosting on top of the coop at night instead of going inside. Nights here are bordering on freezing so should I worry? They are inside the run so still pretty...

My OEG's are lagging behind, is this normal?

I have a small mixed flock, one RIR, one cochin, one Dominique and two OEG crele all bantams. My first three all started laying this week but my OEG's don't even have full combs yet. Is this normal for that breed?

But can my chickens eat this?

My girls are 11 week old bantams and they are slowly braving more and more of my yard. Today they found my grancy grey beard tree which is fruiting. They are a few that were on the ground and really seemed to like it. Has anyone ever had their Chickens eat these? My research says they are not...

    Its all new to me

Um ok I'm new to Chickens and posting so bear with me. I live on 15 acres in a small town in SC. I work fulltime and have 3 small rescue dogs. Not sure why I decided Chickens were a good idea. I couldn't decide what to get so thought I'd start with a small flock of bantams. I wanted 4-5...
