    Turkey perch size

    Heat & humidity

    Have some 2 wk. old chicks and was going to put them out in a pen for the day. However it is very high humidity and temps for next couple of days. We have heat warning with the index to be 105 for the next day or 2. Do you think I should or not?

    How do you count the days till hatch? Is day 1 the day you put the eggs in the incubator or is it the next day after 24 hours?

    Heat and chickens

    How do Salmom Favs do in high heat. We live in the middle part of Missouri where a large part of the summer is in the middle to upper 90's. We would like to get 3 or 4. If they do not do good in heat which breeds would be best for eggs & meat?

    Automatic Poultry Nipples

    Rebuilding coop for this winter and will be installing automatic waters. Due to the freezing weather, we get in Missouri I plan to install them in the house and will need the best type "leak-proof" ones I can find. Any suggestion on which has the best? I do know all will leak at times.
