I always assumed this one was a roo because from a young age it had more of a comb than any other of the chickens, but at about 4.5 months old I haven’t heard any crowing like
I have before around that age with my bantam Cochins.
We have 5 hens and one roo who is about 4 months old. This is the second egg I’ve gotten that appears (to me) to be fertilized. But I am a beginner chicken mama so I could definitely be wrong. I appreciate everyone’s wisdom and opinions!
I have 2 bantams and I knew one had started laying, but today I got the egg on the left. It’s a slightly different shade than the 2 on the right. Could these be from 2 different girls, are both of them laying? Or are all eggs from the same Lady?
