Odd question. How long does it take for the egg to come out of the duck?
I just realized I've never seen my ladies lay an egg. How long does it take for the egg to "pop" out? I've noticed that one or two get a little off from time to time and it always seems to be when they are getting ready to lay either a very large egg or an egg in general. Then their behaviour... -
My female duck's abdomen hangs low, husband is concerned she is obese.
Our concerns for Hennifer Lopez are: Is she overweight? Is it something we should be concerned about ? She does not get bread products nor does any of our flock. She gets her feed. Vegetables, lettuce, the occasional mealworms handouts. She is appx 5 mos old Rouen. -

We lost our sweet Dorcas (Pekin Grimaud) today.
