Hi- I posted this in the chicken raising section also, but was hoping for extra opinions to be sure We inherited these chicks from a kindy egg hatching program and I believe I have a few roosters- just want to be sure before I move them on to another home... Silly question? How do I tell if I have roosters or hens??
I inherited 8 baby chicks from my son's kindy hatching program- We brought them home at 2 weeks old and they are now about 10 weeks old. What we have is as follows: 3 reddish coloured ones with tiny combs and minimal wattles which I believe are hens. 2 white ones with no colour at all- red combs...- emsell
