    These chicks are about 2 1/2 months old. Jersey giant/ LT Brahma cross. Are the circled ones Roos or hens. Just trying to confirm what I think while learning the skills thanks.

    Hi !

    Hi, I’m Jan. I have 4 black Jersey Giants 3 hens and a surprise roo called Benny and the Jets. I added 4 light Brahma chicks (pullets) to my flock and now that they are 3 months old I’m finding out once again I ended up with a roo. Guess I can’t call them the spice girls anymore.

    Just bad luck?

    Hi I am new to the forum but not to chickens. Does this look like it’s a roo? I have Black Jersey Giants and they were supposed to be all pullets and one was a roo. Bought 4 Light Brahma pullets and looks like fate struck twice?
