    Coop treatment for lice

My chickens have lice. My coop is a 65 sq ft shed with sand as it’s bedding. Would you all suggest removing all the sand to treat for the lice?

    Predator apron ideas.

Adding a 12x12 lean too off of my coop, going to have a chicken door for the chickens to access. Anyone have any ideas for a predator apron along the coop itself? Given that I can’t access underneath to bury anything.

    Gape worm

One of my chickens was showing signs of gape worm. I used safe guard paste fenbendazole 10%. I see online that people do it for three day’s continuously or they do it once and wait ten days and then do it again. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

    Introducing chickens to empty coop

Hi everyone, I just bought two fourth month old chickens for my coop. The coop is empty so they will be the only chickens in there. Should I keep them in the coop for a certain amount of time before allowing their run door to open outside to their run? Thanks.

    Coop cleaning.

Hi I’m new to the backyard chickens and just have a few questions. I turned part of my shed into a coop 5x13 and my run is a 4x10 dog kennel attached to my shed. Both have wood floors and I’m just curious on what bedding to use and how often to change it. I have 6 chickens.
