    Red colored buds where spurs should be

    Hi all, I just notice that my 5 month old roo is bright red where his spurs would normally grow on both legs. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

    Best Guess Please!

    I was given this chick as a rescue. We didn’t know what it was at first until his first crow at 3 months. For awhile there he looked like a turkey. Can anyone tell me what breed they think this rooster might be or combo of breeds like perhaps an Easter Egger? Thanks!
