So we had a speckled sussex die a few weeks ago, she was acting abnormal for maybe a week. Slow, not following the group going to and from coop / food. The night before she died she refused to come out of a huge pine tree and stayed the night there because I couldn't get her out.

Hello, this is our second year of having chickens. Got 5 last year in the spring and they have been laying for a year now. Then this spring we got 6 more who haven't started laying yet.
Curious though, from the original 5 - one of my Buff orpingtons (we have 2) stopped laying about a month ago...
Saw hen come out from under our canoe and tipped it over and found 10 eggs. Should I toss or are they safe to eat? One was fresh but I'm not sure how long the other have been there.
Asking for some help. Is this fowl pox? How do I treat or prevent rest of flock from getting this? What causes this? We have 5 hens almost 1.5 yrs old (these are 2 of 5), 1 cockerel and 5 pullets.
Thinking rooster? Almost 8 weeks old. Also not sure if ameraucana or 'americana' easter egger? Bought local and told "americana" but being new to chickens, didn't know there was a difference. Have another one that is definitely a hen and is more red/brown with some black. They are both very good...
