This duck is a day or two late, hasn’t pipped yet but I can see movement inside the egg. I opened up the shell and not sure if he is shrink wrapped or not. Should I open the membrane or wait?
Today is hatch day(the incubator still thinks it is the day before hatch day but in a few hours it will be hatch day). Yesterday a bunch of eggs piped and started to zip, today only on hatched and a bunch the rest of the eggs have seemingly stoped. On egg the the duckling made a strangely big...
The greyish color is what I’m talking about. I moved the egg farther away from the rest in case is is rotten. I also candled it and the duck looks just as developed as the rest. Is this cause of concern of it turns that color?
I had 6 eggs hatch after a massive fail with just 1. The 1 is named Buscuit and is about 3 months old (Jun 28) and the six (Jul 26) so that's a month younger.
A few of the 6 are mixes, and a few of those are almost as big (sometimes even seemly bigger) than biscuit. Has anyone seen this before...

This duck had a deformed bill, but he is still doing fine. I'm wondering if this sack by his neck is normal or also a deformity, I think I saw another duck that had one but not like this.
Pretty much all my silver appleyard ducklings have a black stripe, but one has a brown stripe, and I was just wondering why.
Here's a picture of the brown one next to a black one:
Any ideas why he has a brown stripe?
He was like this when he was born and he is now a few weeks old and it's...
