I just noticed my chickens feet and leg has red on them. It’s in between their toes and up their legs. Today is our first day with snow if that has anything to do with it. Any help is appreciated.
I have done everything and can not get rid of the Bumblefoot. 4 of my chickens have it and have had for months, I don’t know what to do anymore. What can a vet do to help? Anyone ever go to a vet for it?
I have multiple chickens with Bumblefoot scabs, but that’s all they have. No swelling, no kernel or puss. I have removed them but they keep coming back, I don’t know what to do at this point.
I have four chickens with Bumblefoot, just a scab, no swelling. I have done scab removal, only one had a kernel, and it keeps coming back. I have been using tricide neo with no luck. I don’t know what to do at this point. Is it not Bumblefoot? Is it just reoccurring? Any advice or ideas would be...
I have a chicken with Bumblefoot, I checked her today and the scab is coming off on its own, like it’s healing. Should I remove it or leave it alone? I just started treating her and another with tricide neo today as well.
I just purchased tricide neo and plan to use it for stubborn Bumblefoot. Has anyone used it, did you remove the scab first before soaking? Anyone have any experience with it?
4 of my 5 chickens have Bumblefoot, I’m treating 2 right now. I got the kernel out of one foot but the others have no kernel, and the scabs keep coming back. I am also having a hard time keeping the wound clean as sand from the run keeps getting in the bandages and on the wound. I clean the...
I have looked at local companies and they only have fine sand, not any course sand. The bagged sand at the store was super dusty, I don’t know where else to look.
My chickens have had scabs on their feet, I treated it like Bumblefoot and did the removal. There was no kernel or thick scab like Bumblefoot. It healed and The scab has come back and I noticed a couple other chickens have the same scab, no swelling or anything like that. Its not acting like...
I have a hen that is broody that won’t break, I have been caging her but she has turned the cage into her broody spot. I have dipped her and cool water but nothing. I am also dealing with Bumblefoot in two other hens and need the cage for them at night, I’m not sure what else to do
I have a chicken who I just removed the Bumblefoot scabs on both feet, neither of which had a kernel. They were mild cases, I caught them early, no swelling at all. The tissue under the scab was all healthy pink, no puss or stringy bits. I felt the pad and I felt no hard pieces or anything out...
I have a chicken that had Bumblefoot, she showed the classic scab on the bottom of both her feet. I have been treating it with epsom soaks, vetricyn, neosporin, and prid for over a week now. Her classic Bumblefoot scab has gone away and is replaced by a new scab. Does this mean it is healing on...
I have a chicken with double Bumblefoot, we have been treating it and the scab seems to be being replaced with a new scab. Is this healing on its own, pictures are attached
I have a chicken with bumblefoot in both feet, I believe I caught it early. I am soaking her feet in epsome salt bath once a day, spraying with vetrycil, then using prid drawing solve and wrapping her feet up. Will I have to remove the plug and kernel, will this resolve like this, any advice...
I was out with my chickens and I noticed this sore on my chickens foot. Any idea what it is and what I should do? This is my first time dealing with something like this.
This is my first winter with chickens, I have switched them from cup waterer to a heated nipple kind. I have also moved their food and water inside as sometimes they spend all day in their coop. I noticed they have drastically reduced their water intake since the switch, they seem to be doing...
