We got our Barred Rock out of a bin that said they were bantams. How would we know if she’s really a bantam? She seems to be about the same size as our other chickens. She started laying last week, her eggs are fairly small but again I don’t know if that’s just because she’s a new layer or what...
One of my Easter eggers laid her first egg 8 days ago but none since. Is this normal? We are first time chicken tenders so still learning. My barred rock laid one the same day and has laid 3 others since then.
Someone saw my Barred Rock online last night and said she is actually a he! Please tell me that’s not true. I may actually cry! We can’t have Roos 😭

I have two 8 week old Black australorps. They came from the same batch, but combs are throwing me off. They look so different. Not the best pics. Also the one in the back gives me vulture vibes.
