    First eggs

    We got our first eggs. A elongated brown/lightbrown day 1 a greenish blue day 2 and 3 and a small dark brown on day 4. I believe it was our Jersey Giant then our Americanna/blue orpington cross (she laid 2) then rhode island Red all chicks are brown eggers except the Americanna

    Like kids in the leaves

    I found my 3-4 week old ckicks like me to leave the shavings in 1 big pile and let them spread them around. All 11 come running and dive into the big pile and kick them in all directions and they're singing so happily.
