I have a 21 wk pullet that I've caught sleeping in the nesting boxes, today I found some poop that looks just like the pics of coral urites. Do pullets do this before they start to lay eggs?
I'm going to give them a round if corrid to be safe but they all seem fine.
I have 3 chickens born sept 11 all mixed. One is a petite hen Maizie, one a large crowing rooster Taz, than this one. I could wait a few more weeks and see if it lays lol. I'd like to know if it's a daizie.
Hello, finally had a question you all hadn't answered in other threads. This place has been so extremely helpful in the past 2yrs if becoming a chicken mama. Thank you all!!
I have 2-5 month roosters, 5 laying hens, 2-5month pullets and 4-1 month old chicks, so 13 total. Free range, huge fenced in area, 32 square ft coop, with covered area. Clean coop, clean water and fresh food with scratch or veggies every day.
Once the 4 chicks hatched I haven't gotten anymore...
