I have three almost 7 week old Chinese painted quail, two hens and a roo.
They're pets so their comfort and happiness is my main priority, eggs are a bonus.
With this in mind, would it be better to add a second roo, and provide nesting areas at opposite ends of the 'L', or keep them as a trio...
I'm currently hatching CPQ, was wondering if this food is appropriate for them when they hatch (I expect I'll need to grind it up a little). How long before I should switch to something else?

Apon testing the automatic turner, we've noticed that the eggs can bunch up and sit upside down (pointed end up). Is this okay, or should I remove the automatic turner and turn by hand?
