    Cordless Heated Waterer Recommendations?

    Does anyone know of any good cordless heated waterers that would work for ducks? It has to be able to survive Wisconsin winters (potentially -40° temps). I'm going need to move my ducks to an area too far from my house and garage to plug in my current heated waterer.

    Does anyone filter their ducks' above ground pool? I have one for my ducks, its not huge, but it still takes a while to drain and fill back up. Is it worth it? Where can I find a filter and what's the price range? Anything else I should know about filters?

    Duckling With a Deformed Beak

    One of my call ducklings that's hatching had a deformed beak. The beak is crooked, the tongue is sticking out, and looks too small. It hasn't hatched yet, but what do I need to do to help it once it does? You can kind of see the tongue sticking out in the picture

    My two drakes have been picking on one of my 3 hens. They aren't overmating her but it does look like the feathers on the side of her chest are getting pulled on.     How can I keep poop from freezing to my ducks' feathers? There has been 4 times this winter (my first year with ducks and I'm in Wisconsin) that some of my ducks have come out of their coop with poop frozen to their butt feathers. Is this something that can be super harmful?
