I have 6 baby quails that hatched 1 day ago. I took them out of the incubator 4 hours ago and put them in the brooder. They didn't seem to eat at all so I put the crumbles on my hand and put it in front of them. After an hour or so I saw them eat maybe a grain or two but then again nothing...
