Hey guys so today we had to say goodbye to free ranging! So today we saw a hawk while our chickens were free ranging and it was right over them. 3 of our big hens went back in the coop and into the house. But our rooster stayed out along with our two smaller hens but the two smaller hens were...

So we have 3 black Australorps and they are laying eggs now. They started laying about a month ago and they all have normal eggs except Ginger (🙄) who has been laying same eggs but with white spots.
Here it is!
And it is on the whole egg too!
Is this a cause for concern?
We have one 7 month old Silver Laced Wyandotte pullet who is smaller than the others that are her age and she has been carefully pecking off feathers from our hens and also our rooster. Seems to be on thighs and back under tails!! Is this a problem?!

"What should we do?!?!" I do I said!
That's right me who (thinks) knows so much about chickens
We have 6 week old chicks that soon are going to need to move to the little cage next to the chicken coop but it's getting cold 🥶 😬

I was wondering what you peeps thought the gender of this ADORABLE 2 week and 3 day old Exchequer Leghorn chick. We got her from Meyer hatchery she was supposed to be a girl but her comb is giving me second thoughts! 😕
Here (SHE🤞) is. (HER🤞) name is Meadow!
I was wondering what the best way to add a new chick to a flock of 5 chickens is. And I had some questions.
Will they peck her and hurt her?
Will they pick on her?
Please let me know!
