I have 4 chickens that are just over 22 weeks. 2 Wyandottes and 2 EE. Both the Wyandottes combs and waddles have turned dark pink/red. But I do live in Cleveland Ohio. Here’s a pic of 3 of the 4.
I have 2 Wyandottes and 2 Easter eggers that are 16 weeks…what are the chances of them laying anytime soon? I’m in Northeastern Ohio ..Will I get eggs this year? Or will they wait till spring?
I know it’s early but I really liked the idea of starting the thread early and posting updates for thoughts and opinions as they mature.
Here is my Blue Orpington. She was purchased from Meyer on August 19th as a day old chick so today makes her 5 weeks.
She has combs and starting to develop...
Pictures 1 and 2 are the same chick. The third fourth and fifth are the same. Both 7 weeks now. One has atypical plumage and the other has a pink comb but more traditional lacing. So confusing!!
These are my beautiful Wyandottes. The one in the back was labeled blue laced Wyandotte and the one in the front with the pink comb was labeled gold laced. Bought at the same time. Pretty big difference in size between the two. They’re both really sweet. Thoughts?
