hoping to have the coop up in a couple of weeks and excited to get started. what breeds if any do you feel are best for a beginner? they will be well looked after and cared for so friendly and somewhat social would be good.

located in Michigan and just starting on the journey, ordered a coop and planning on having a small backyard flock for personal use. i know little to nothing about raising chickens so i'll be depending on y'all for a lot of information.
