I hatched out this EE in March and it has gone from pure black to having splotches of red on its wings and neck. Am I correct in thinking it is a cockeral?
I am so confused. Out of the blue eggs I just hatched from my Barred Rock Rooster and Easter Egger hens 2 chicks are not black.They other EE chicks are black but not these 2. Any clue as to why? I thought the BR genetics was dominant so I was expecting black chicks not these 2.
