The whyandotte on top of the run is the one who is suspicious. Bigger/taller, redder in the face more solid feathers on the wings. The one on the ground I'm positive is a lady. About 12 weeks old.
The rir is about 7 weeks old in that picture. Does she look like a rhode island red? Someone said...
Both should be pullets,but I have been noticing some differences for the last 5 weeks that make me wonder if I could have a roo. I'm good with a rooster. They are about 12 weeks old. If you need different angles or something i can do that after the rain passes. Thank you.
I'm probably over thinking this. But I sprouted Lentils for my girls, and now im wondering if i need to go and remove any unsprouted lentils. From what I have seen people just sprouted them and toss them out to the chickens.
So do I look through it toss any unsprouted in the trash?
