    What can I use besides vetricyn spray? Im sorry, but its so expensive. I dont even spend that much on my meds. Hydrogen peroxide damages tissue. Any other alternatives?

    Full size rooster with smaller breed hens

    So I have 3 silkie hens. One is especially tiny. I also have full size hens. With this last batch of chicks, one ended up being a rooster. Not bad considering they only guarantee 90/10 of getting pullets. So... this rooster is a barred rock. Hes about 3 months old and already quite a bit bigger...

    She was sold as a pullet, had small white spot on head, not the larger one males have. But now she is trying to challenge my other rooster, and shes only 8.5 weeks old. Comb is deeper red and larger than what I've seen for pullets her age. Of course she was my favorite. Shes a rooster, isnt she???
