We purchased a couple of chicks two months ago and unfortunately they both turned out to be boys. They're really sweet gentle roosters but sadly we aren't allowed to keep them in the city. If you're looking to add a rooster or two to your flock these guys are great. The orange one is a buff...

This little peeper is about a week old, so probably too early to tell gender, but if anybody wants to throw out some guesses, that would be sweet! Thanks!
So this little one is probably about 1-2 weeks old, which I know is probably too early to tell gender, but if anyone has experience with sexing this breed, that would be rad. Thanks!
The hen in question is roughly three years old. She has been acting lethargic as of late and is not walking or moving at all, except her head to drink. If you pick her up and move her she does not protest, and simply sinks back down upon being set down. It appears that she may not be able to...
My chicken has a bloody vent. It looks a little off too, like sticking out a little bit, but not exactly sticking out, just kind of weird and bulgy looking. Not sure what's wrong. Any help appreciated.
So I have 2 bunnies, and two dogs. Up until last week the bunnies were living in the house but we just finished their hutch and moved them to it. So as soon as we put them out there the dogs ran over to the hutch and wouldn't leave them alone. This continued all week. Last night I went out to...
Are these both boys? I really hope not but I'm suspecting they are.
Production Red
Speckled Sussex (less manly, acts like a hen)
If you need better pictures I can try to get some later. Thanks!
So these chicks should be about 6 or so weeks old, but even though they are the same age the australorp very quickly outgrew the production red. While the australorp got to move outside with the other older chickies, Cal(the red) had to stay inside with the younger ones. Other than the fact she...
My barred rock was laying around a lot so I picked her up to try and see if she'd move but she just layed right back down. I checked if she was egg bound and i couldn't seem to see any signs of that. Also checked her crop, seems fine. Her comb isn't pale and she seems alert except she isn't...
Ok so I'm pretty sure I know breed on all of them and gender on most of them
Ok, number one is a black australorp, i think hen
Ok, number two I'm pretty sure is a speckled sussex, not sure on gender but leaning toward roo
Salmon Favorolles almost positive hen
and lastly, the one i am 99%...
So we bought her as a welsummer but i am now realizing there are some definite differences. For one, her legs are pink. Second her chest is way yellower than any other welsummer chicks I've seen, and third she is a much darker color. Any ideas? Also any gender guesses are welcome.
thanks!
Ok, so pretty sure it's way too early to tell gender on these ones, unless there's an obvious roo I somehow missed. But I'm just checking to make sure I'm right on all the breeds.
Easter Egger or Ameracuana or whatever you want to call it
