    Feathers EVERYWHERE!

    So many grey feathers under my cypress tree...so many feathers in the coop, and in the pen. Somebody must have been snatched and carried off... did a visual, mentally trying to figure out which chicken these must belong to...did a head count... nobody is missing. that means- its MOLTING season!

    Unknown threat

    Rooster and one cockerel have been crowing at odd (for them) times. When I went to sit on front porch with my coffee- everything is quiet out there. But... he sees something I don’t at the woods behind the coop.
