It's that time of year again when cabbage is super cheap, I stock up and hang them in the coop for the girls.
I use a long screw eye, go down right through the core and hang it on a chain. They love it, and my bunny likes it as well.

Chippy was the first surrogate mom for Baby as that was the only egg to hatch. Then Chippy decided Baby was big enough to be on her own, and dear old Muffy wanted a chick so bad, she took over and now loves big Baby with all her heart! Everyone is so happy now... Chippy has her freedom again...
