I am SO very happy to know that I am not the only one who keeps finding new chicks - I am not sure if it is because it is all new and exciting, or if I am just off my rocker. Winter Co-op Lighting - no electricity
I am sorry to report but the small solar paneled shed light doesn't hold the charge for more than 20 minutes - just enough time to get the girls into the coop for the night. Help, this is happening to me now. My girls about 9 weeks old now and there are 5 of them. It sounds like a rooster who is trying to find its voice, but I am pretty sure it is a hen (but the alpha, most aggressive hen out of the flock). It crowed at least 8 times this morning before 6am.
