Very odd indeed!! That's a good thought that there maybe something wrong with her - it's brought back a distant memory for me of a friend who had a young chicken being picked on by the others. It turned out that it had a tumour on it's head.
I really don't think it is. I know how vicious duck sex can seem, but he is truely chasing her away and guarding his other girls. He's not trying to pin her down to mate, just attacking and feather pulling. We've kept ducks for nearly 10 years and I've never seen anything like this!
