I am from ri and had 5 baby Silkie chicks. Come to find out three are roosters and two are hens. I already had two Silkie roosters, so now I have 5 roosters and two hens. I wanted to get rid of 4 roosters, but don't want them to be killed. Does anyone know what I should do, or...
I wish my silkies loved to be held! Some don't mind, but none seem to love it!
So there was a frost last night, and my babies are 6-7 months old. They are fine being outside right? I have a light setup in my garage today in case they need to warm up. Is that a bad idea?
My Roos are pretty great too. My favorite one actually attacks my kids (doesnt hurt them, just jumps at them)though but the other adult then attacks him to say what are you thinking dude! They feed us!
I'm mostly worried about my one little girl! Will she just get used and abused by the Roos...

Hi I'm a new Silkie owner in rhode island!
I was never into birds ( they actually freaked me out) till we got some chickens to eat our backyard bugs. I fell in love instantly and now I'm hooked!
Currently trying to sex my birds and I think we have 6 Roos and one hen! Yikes!
