I believe the leakage of color in his hackles is a DQ, hes supposed to be blue and not have anyother color. He is very nice just wish he did have the leakage

could be coons, mink, fox,possum. really any predator. We live right along the woods and have all sorts of problems with everything even bobcats and cougars. IM sorry I feel your pain

Thats what my roos get. Its high in protein, it should be fine. They cant lay eggs so theyll just use the protein to protein for fat

I Dont think that would make a difference We have soft water but the farm were I have got most of my birds has hard water. And they are all still quite plump and healthy, water is water. I would say she just got sick beacuse she got exposed to some virus or bacteria
