    I recently purchased a white silkie who is now 6 months old. I was hoping she would lay soon but I have read they can take longer to lay...and the winter months probalby won't help. Everyday I check on her and the Buff Orpington and I find lots of poop but no eggs. Oh well one day they will...

    Silkie lifespan?

    I have a 5 month old Silkie girl which I purchased from a breeder. She said her Silkie have typically lived to be 7 years old, but has had them live to 9 years.
