Hi everyone- I had a tragic event happen yesterday after we received our new babies from MPC. One tiny little cochin bantam chick was accidentally stepped on by my daughter. She's 2 1/2, and yes I was right there with her, she was being so good and so gentle. She lost her balance at the same...- kissem37

Who's Hatching in Dec. 2011 ?
I candled today and things are not looking promising Of 13, only one showed good veining, and I'm pretty sure 2 had blood rings. I also saw a couple that had little float-y bits in them?? No obvious veins, though. Sigh... I hope I get at least 2 from this lot... Oh, and its day 6, so I thought...- kissem37

Who's Hatching in Dec. 2011 ?
I have 13 set to hatch on Dec 19th- 6 sizzles, 7 bbs silkies. I've had a couple wild temperature fluctuations, though, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed- kissem37
