YAY!! Then they will most likely hatch!!!! And aww don't worry your human, your suppossed to commit errors before learning from them atleast be happy you learn, there's people who never learn
Foxes are very known for just taking the heads and necks of prey specialy if the fowl is penned in then they just pull through fence or wire, foxes also are known for killing for the heck of it as well, I'm sorry to hear so though
I dunno what to tell you, my neighbor has some medicine but he's out of town right now so I can't really ask him try calling a feedstore and ask them if thats the last resource, I hope someone comes into here and helps though, good luck
Don't you worry my friend, if the momma is still sitting on them then they will more then likely hatch!
Do you have a pic of the cracked egg? or do you know how developed it was?
I hope she's still broody

Great advice, I would totally agree with you. Also you might want to stick to silkies, they lay medium size eggs and they're small and gourgeous-your neighbors would not be bothered by the presence of such beautiful babies Good luck and have fun!

This would work if inside a penned area but I'm talking a pretty large outdoor area , it wouldn't work for me. Thanks for the input though.
How big is big? mine are in a 20 by 35 pen
Thank goodness you created this post because I am just now having the same issue with my addition of silkies to the whole flock but I believe they will be fine after reading this! Thanks!

WELCOME ANGELJIM!!! Glad to have you here! I hope you can find some more birds, if you're having trouble finding some, perhaps some of us that are SCNA members can contact your SCNA state representative, and get some more sources for you.
Thanks! I already love this place! And yes I'm...
