Something odd about these treats;

A short video I took yesterday afternoon, of my chickens out in the snow;

Only one of my babies remains, and it appears to be a rooster. Once trouble starts with his dad, he'll have to go. Squirrels have been getting into the chicken feed, and since I haven't seen any deer for a while I'm back to blasting the offending squirrels.

That must have been awful. :( I hope you've solved the problem, and it never happens again.

I reset the trap, hoping I can continue to catch any offending critters.

Oh yeah, I read about that. I don't like that society has gotten to where people are often assumed to be guilty of something just for having a gun, but I also don't like people going around looking for trouble over it. I'm all for open carry, but not for trying to create drama.

I spent $10 at Walmart today, and finally have a bag for my pistol. I'll need to do something to strengthen it, but this will sure beat just putting it on the floor in the back seat of the truck.
