    The thing about WMAs are there's a season on coyotes and it ends in March. March is a great time to get out and shoot the young ones.

    In Virginia theres just a lack of public land between eastern VA and the mountains, so just to get to a lot of public land it's like a 4 hour drive. For deer a 4 hour drive I could do, but just for small game its a bit too far.

    Yes you can. I don't have one personally, but I have used one back in Colorado. Someday if I have the money I might buy one.

    Really an hour west of Richmond I could handle. That's not too bad Richmond is only like 40 minutes from here. My original plans were to go to the George Washington National Forest which is like 3 and a half hours away. So if you have some places in mind just let me know. Thanks!!

    I live in Hampton, so really anything within 2 hours will work for me. I can't really be too picky due to the lack of public land to hunt on the eastern side of the state.

    Military member looking for some land to hunt coyotes. I'm just hoping to help out with the growing population of coyotes, and hopefully keep them from killing your livesock. I'm not looking to hunt deer, just coyotes so if you or someone you know needs help just let me know thanks!!!
