    we are in wolfeboro & we have 3 brown leghorn pullets who should be laying in the next couple weeks i saw my adult rooster mating one yesterday most of the time mating occurs 2 to 3 weeks before laying starts

    has anyone here been having trouble with things with big teeth showing up? I cleared out 3 skunks & 2 coons over the summer, so I figured I was all set. Wrong! something got 1 of my blue slate turkey's & 2 meet birds all in 1 night good thing my Orps are locked up in their coops at night.

    well count me in folks i only have 3 little guinea eggs in the great big sportsman as we are finished hatching (i thought ) till spring. i was given a bonded pair & the female has provided me with 3 eggs so far so i put them on the rack to see if i could get something out of them

    you can buy a set of metal forms & have a guy make your block right on sight check out youtube if good block will last 30 years great quality block may outlast all of us i like to do a job once & be done with it

    i have my eye on a 1/2 hector or so out behind my inlaws not sure how much i can do if i'm only there max. 1 month per year in the states i always say "buy fence not feed" good quality fence only needs to be purchased once in the Philippines i'm guessing good quality would mean cement...
