    Bulls eye? I looked with a light today (day5) for my first egg, and could see an air pocket at the end. I hopr I didn't cook it!! Mike

    I put my second egg in today. The dimmer is a bit of a hassle. However, I have been able to keep my temp. with in the 98-101 range. Humidity has been a bit more of a challenge.     Hey folks!! This is my first attempt at hatching some cicken eggs.

    I built my incubator out of a styrofoam cheese box. I used a 70 watt bulb with a dimmer on it. I have a sponge in a bowl of water. My humidity is 59-60 % my temp is 98.8-99.8. I am open to any and all suggestions or comments. Thank you, Mike

    I am brand new to this. I thought it would be easy. After reading these posts, I'm begining to lose confidence. I built my incubator from online instructions and can hold my temp. and humidity. I was going to wait until I had a dozen or so of eggs. NOT, I'm starting with one. Wish me luck. Mike
